Shingeki no kyojin or as it’s known to English speakers, “Attack On Titan”, depicts a fictional world in which the world has been invaded by a race of giants known as “Titans”, forcing what remains of mankind to take shelter within massive walled cities.
Originally a manga, the series spawned an animated adaptation which was released in 2013 and garnered critical acclaim.
Fans around the world were naturally excited when a live action film adaptation was announce in 2014. However, enthusiasm waned a bit when production stills and finally a trailer were released earlier this year. Now even more information about the film has been revealed, including some posters that show the full cast of characters. Netizens’ reactions are mixed, with some decrying that the production values look cheap. Still others take issue with the film’s plot, which changes the background of key characters.

Unveiled Images for “Attack on Titan” Film Depict Eren, Shikishima and Mika In Military Formation
Two posters for a two-part live-action adaptation of Isayama Hajime manga “Attack On Titan” were released on 17 April.
The images feature the main cast in their respective roles, with Miura Haruma playing Eren, Hasegawa Hiroki as Shikishima, “The World”s Strongest Man”, and Mizuhara Kiko as Mika. The posters are scheduled to be installed at theaters nationwide starting 25 April. When scanned using the smartphone app “SATCH VIEWER”, the posters allow you to view trailer footage, so try it for yourself. The official title of the second installment which opens 19 September is “ATTACK ON TITAN: END OF THE WORLD”.
In addition, advanced sales will begin April 25th. Those who purchase their tickets as a complete set together with the ticket for the first installment “ATTACK ON TITAN”, which opens August 1st, will receive as a bonus a set of three clear folders.
